The big highlight from Rock Meadow today was a family of Orchard Orioles. I’ve been hoping to confirm breeding for several years now and finally succeed today.

Great series documenting the Orchard Orioles breeding grounds. Those fledglings get pretty demanding, I don’t begrudge that Mom taking a break!
Very nice shots. We have these birds in our area, too, but they’re not a common sight.
I belive they are very hard to spot, since they blend in with the leaves! Cool photos!
